What cookies are

Look, cookies are not a snack. They're tiny files a site puts on your browser. When you visit, the site asks your browser to keep a small note. That note helps the page load right and remember you next time. I know, sounds dull. Nobody wakes up excited about cookies. But that's what they are, and they're mostly harmless.

Who runs this blog

I'm just one person. No company, no team, no office with a ping pong table. I write crypto tips for folks who want to learn without the headache. The blog title says we write crypto tips for everyone, but it's really just me tapping keys at night. So this cookies page is just me talking to you, not a legal desk with a suit.

Why I use them

I keep it simple. A few cookies help the blog work so you don't hit errors. Some might tell me which posts you read, like the one on cold wallets or tax stuff. That's it. No sneakery, no selling your name.

Kinds you might see

If you're worried, relax. These are plain and small. I don't hide weird trackers. The blog is a side thing, not a spy shop.

Third party cookies

Sometimes other sites set cookies when you click a link or see an embed. That's a third party cookie. I don't control those. They come from outside, like an ad or a video. They're like a guest dropping crumbs on your browser. You can block them if you want, and the blog still shows up fine.

Honestly, third party stuff is the annoying part of the web. I'd rather not have it, but some tools need it. Your browser can cut most of it with a few clicks.

How to turn them off

Easy. Your browser has settings to block or delete cookies. Look in the options menu under privacy. You can say no to all cookies or just some. The blog will still work, maybe a bit less smooth if you kill the basic ones. No big deal.

If you use a phone, the setting is in the app too. Search "cookies" in the help bit. You're the boss of your browser, not me.
